CK Jerk Shack is a fully licensed and insured, award-winning Island BBQ caterer and mobile restaurant.  CK Jerk Shack provides clients and their guests with an exciting tropical excursion through world class Island cuisine, a tropical themed mobile restaurant and irie music.   They offer an extensive range of meats, seafood, and vegetarian entrees in a wide range of BBQ styles, from American, Hawaiian, Asian, Spanish, to our specialty Jamaican Jerk BBQ.  Plus exceptional sides.  All are guaranteed to delight, no matter the budget or discriminating palate.   
 
With their state of the art mobile commercial kitchen they can cook everything on-site or simply bring the expertly prepared meals to your location for sit-down service, a tasty buffet or drop-off service.  Rest assured that the quality of the cuisine and service are excellent based on client testimonials and formal customer satisfaction surveys.  

CK Jerk Shack is passionate about good food and focuses on providing customers with quality meals that excite the eyes, nose and palate.  Flavor is the goal, not an afterthought at CK Jerk Shack.  Flavor is marinated and smoked right in to our foods, not added afterwards with bbq sauces. We specialize in Island themed and BBQ catering events requiring on site cooking and can handle events large and small.

If you've been to Jamaica, you know that in order to get the best jerk, you skip the restaurants and visit the jerk pit masters at the jerk shacks across the Island.   Through its current and future Jerk-To-Go take-out, catering and mail-order businesses, CK Jerk Shack aims to serve you the best jerk cuisine in the world from a state of the art Jerk Shack with a wood-burning rotisserie smoker.

Passionate about his restaurant business and Caribbean heritage, Jerk Pit Master Mark Robinson has a love for great tasting food and the art of barbecuing, which are apparent in the mouth watering dishes he prepares at his Island BBQ mobile restaurant concept CK Jerk Shack in Orlando, Florida. So much so, that his license plate reads "JERK2GO", and that�s not a reflection of his character.

Beyond the required food safety manager�s training, Robinson has no formal culinary training. He credits innate gifts from God, training in his mother�s kitchen, research and experimentation for his ability to create meals that WOW the taste buds. Customers frequently use terms like amazing, unbelievable, fabulous, irie, perfect, delicious, excellent, and wonderful (usually with one or more exclamation points) to describe CK Jerk Shack�s cuisine.

Pit Master Robinson began his professional career as a Foods Research & Development Engineer with Procter & Gamble. He went on to earn a Cornell MBA, and spend an additional ten years in Corporate America, including four years in brand management with Disney, before succumbing to his entrepreneurial and culinary calling. Off-course during these 18 years, he was also researching, studying and experimenting with the jerk method of seasoning, marinating and barbecuing to the delight of his friends and family.

His prior foodservice experience was limited to working in his High School tuck shop serving his peers the traditional Jamaican school lunch of patty & coco bread with chocolate milk. But you would never know that based on how efficiently Robinson can single-handedly shop, prep and cook a custom catering order for 200 people. As they say in Jamaica, Robinson is the "head-cook and bottle washer". Not only does he wear a chef�s hat, but a president�s hat, marketer�s hat, accountant�s hat, webmaster�s hat, purchaser�s hat, server�s hat and dishwasher�s hat, to name a few.

So what�s so special about CK Jerk Shack�s jerk barbecue? In a nutshell, it�s flavor, aroma, appearance and texture. CK Jerk Shack's barbecue is a fusion of traditional Southern slow wood-smoked BBQ and authentic Jamaican jerk BBQ to create tender BBQ with a great smoke-ring and a complex herb, spice and smoke flavor that fires-up your taste buds, without the traditional "burn" of jerk, unless you ordered extra spicy. 

The mobile, self-sufficient and fully enclosed restaurant is 8' wide, 24' long and 13' tall and weighs approx. 9,000 lbs.  It houses a quiet generator, smoker/pit, grill, refridgerator, stove, 3 hot wells, 2 cold wells, water tanks, hot water heater, hand wash and triple-dishwashing sinks, and plenty of counter and cabinet space.  The smoker area is screened with a heat resistant stainless steel mesh.  CK Jerk Shack can bring the entire restaurant to you for a complete culinary experience or deliver the meal and set up an exquisite buffet.
